Le 10 novembre au Complexe aquacole et Agricole Agro World Group à Missole II , le gouverneur du Littoral a remis des parchemins de fin de formation en aquaculture et en agriculture aux éléments du BIR blessés de guerre.
Victime d’une mine au cours d’une patrouille à Wambachi, dans l’Extrême- Nord, pendant la guerre contre Boko Haram, aujourd’hui le lieutenant Ibrahima Djekaibe, commandant la compagnie de dépôt de Limbe (région du Sud-Ouest) se déplace avec une prothèse. Il est venu se former en aquaculture et en agriculture pour un emploi sédentaire dans le BIR. Comme lui, 12 de ses camarades ont été formés pendant 35 jours au complexe aquacole et agricole de Missole II (Sanaga-Maritime).
Avec cette formation, ils sont capables de transformer leur productions en produits finis directement consommables par leurs camarades d’armes engagés dans les champs de bataille » . La formation de ces éléments du BIR blessés de guerre s’inscrit dans le cadre de l’engagement de cette unité d’élite des forces de défense camerounaises.
Le gouverneur, Samuel Dieudonné Ivaha Diboua a saisi l’occasion pour remercier le président de la République qui a instruit le conseiller technique pour le BIR afin que des voies d’occupation des personnes blessées au front soient diversifiées. Il a en outre encouragé le BIR du Littoral à poursuivre dans la même lancée avec les autres blessés de guerre. Le contrôleur, inspecteur général adjoint des BIR M. Onambele Mendouga a rappelé que le BIR avait pour leitmotiv d’être le bouclier du Cameroun. « Nous entendons rester et demeurer la raison d’être du peuple camerounais même étant couchés, assis, blessés ou alités sur un lit de blessé de guerre », a-til soutenu. D’où la valeur ajoutée de cette formation.
Outre les éléments du Bir, près d’une dizaine de civils ayant suivi les mêmes formations ont également reçu leurs parchemins. A en croire le promoteur du complexe aquacole et agricole de Missole, Boris Youdom Kamgo, sa structure est là pour répondre à une demande sans cesse croissante en matière de formation dans les domaines de l’agriculture, l’aquaculture entre autres.
